Lauren LeVan Williams is a life-long resident of Lower Swatara Township .  She attended Middletown Area High School and the Harrisburg Area Community College .

Lauren is currently employed by the Pennsylvania Senate and is the mother of five children.

In summarizing her duties as Township Commissioner, Commissioner LeVan Williams stated, “It should always be the goal of any public official to be the voice of the community in general and not just a select few.  It is necessary to have the input of all people in order to make decisions that will be in the best interests of the constituency and the township.  My only wish is that more residents would get involved in the process.  I oppose unnecessary spending and tax increases that result from that spending, and I will continue to fight against decisions being made without the input of the majority of individuals who reside and pay taxes in Lower Swatara Township .  Thank you for the honor of electing me to serve a community that I love.”
