UPDATE: Our contractor has provided additional schedule information for paving work an traffic/parking restrictions:
- July 16: General clean-up work and milling. Traffic will be maintained as normal, but the contractor requests residents do not park on the street.
- July 20: Pavement fabric will be installed. During this time, please limit all traffic as much as possible. Once the fabric is in place, it can be driven on. Again, no parking will be permitted on the street.
- July 21: The final wearing course will be placed. During this work, no vehicle traffic is permitted.
Beginning on June 9th, Robert-Thomas Construction will be starting preliminary work for a paving overlay project along sections of Hartford, Colony, and Windsor Drives. Work will start with the replacement of a section of storm sewer on Hartford Drive. The pavement overlay work is scheduled to occur near the end of July. Notice of the exact date will be given closer to start of work so that vehicles normally parked on the streets can be moved to driveways.
During the project, roadside curbing will also need to be replaced. During this replacement nearby driveways will, unfortunately, not be able to be used. The contractor will make sure to notify each resident at these locations prior to work in order so any vehicles can be moved. The driveways that are anticipated to be affected are:
- 131 Hartford Drive
- 170 Hartford Drive
- 501 Colony Drive
- 530 Windsor Drive
- 531 Windsor Drive
- 571 Windsor Drive
- 551 Windsor Drive
- 511 Windsor Drive
While the contractor plans to keep at least one lane of traffic throughout the project, please avoid using the Hartford Drive to Hamilton Drive exit, if possible.
